I am a Bay Area native, born and raised in San Leandro, California. In 2008 I moved to Lincoln, Nebraska to attend the University of Nebraska- Lincoln as a National Hispanic Scholar. I received my undergraduate degree in both Speech Language Pathology and Spanish (double major) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2012. I received my master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology also from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2014. After this, I worked for Lincoln Public Schools serving the preschool and elementary populations. In Nebraska, I also worked for 5 years as a PRN clinician in skilled nursing facilities. In 2019, my husband and I relocated back to the Bay Area where I worked for Pleasanton Unified School District, again serving preschool and elementary students. I now work full time as a Senior Speech Therapist for Kaiser Oakland in the pediatric rehabilitation department. I love what I do and am extremely passionate about providing quality speech and language therapy. I am thrilled to be providing contracted private speech therapy now through Tri-Valley Speech Therapy.

My husband, Sam, and I enjoy walking our chocolate labrador, Porter. We are frequent local restaurant patrons. I am an avid reader and tent camping enthusiast.

I currently hold my Speech Language Pathology California State License through the Department of Health and Human Services as well as my Certificate of Clinical Competency through the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Chelsea is also a certified Hanen provider and is now offering the "More Than Words" parent training program to families all over California via Google Meet.
